Personalized Romance in Walnut Creek, CA: Rohan’s Thoughtful Proposal to Nisha

Lush surprise marriage proposal set up with circular arch, flowers, candles, and custom decor

This surprise proposal was overflowing with thoughtful details and lush, romantic florals. Set in the intimate side yard of Nisha’s Walnut Creek family home, Rohan spared no effort in creating a moment that felt both personal and breathtaking.

The design featured a floral circular arch adorned with cascading amaranth and twinkling hanging candles, creating a magical focal point. Aisle arrangements of abundant blooms and soft candlelight led the way to the arch, while three pedestal arrangements framed the scene with added depth and grandeur. Petals scattered along the aisle completed the look, adding an extra layer of softness and romance.

Beyond the florals, Rohan incorporated an array of personalized touches that made the proposal unmistakably theirs: custom signage highlighting their most meaningful places around the globe, bud vases inspired by one of Nisha’s favorite shows, personalized wine bottles and glasses, a custom ring box, a heartfelt poem, photographs of the couple, and even customized books. Every detail told their story in a way that was deeply intimate and uniquely them.

What we loved most was how unmistakably personal the entire experience felt. No one else could have stumbled upon this setting and thought, This is for me. It was created for Rohan and Nisha alone and that is what made it so extraordinary.

I love your advice on mixing silk and fresh flowers for durability. Using both allowed me to design a long-lasting Wrist Corsage Pink for a bridal shower that survived hours of dancing. To keep the groom’s outfit coordinated, we found great ideas in this helpful corsages and boutonnieres article, which explains how to blend materials for a polished, photo-ready finish.

The step-by-step floral wiring tips you shared are so practical. I recently followed similar techniques while creating a shimmering Wrist Corsage Royal Blue for a winter formal, pairing it with silver ribbon. To match my date’s suit perfectly, we relied on this guide for selecting a coordinating corsage and boutonniere combination that brought the entire evening look together beautifully.
